Junior High School (Grade 7 - 9)
The curriculum, which is aligned with the Liberia Ministry of Education Curriculum Standards, is intended to provide the foundation students will need for more challenging and rigorous academic experiences in senior high school. Students also engage in a variety of enriching programs that serve as critical outlets for creativity and self-expression, and foster self-awareness, confidence, and independence.
Math, English, social studies French, general science, physical education, and moral education are the core subjects of the middle school curriculum. Through structured learning experiences, we develop and strengthen students’ skills in problem solving, critical thinking and digital literacy. Our goal is to thoroughly prepare our students for the four years of high school that lie ahead.
Digital Literacy Program
In today’s digital world, nearly every career requires digital communication, so equipping students with the skills to effectively and responsibly find, evaluate, communicate, and share online content is key to their futures.
While our digital program is in its infancy, our goal is to focus on the following topics: computational thinking, coding, virtual robotics, word processing, keyboarding/typing, spreadsheets, and database, Internet usage and communications, and cyber safety.
