MISSION STATEMENT
We aspire to a “Total Child” approach to education. This approach ensures that the learner is not only knowledgeable in traditional academic subjects but also emotionally and physically healthy and engaged in makerspace education where they learn to design, experiment, build, and invent, and tinker with objects.
Education First, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered in the United States and Liberia. The organization was established to help provide quality education for children and youths in underserved and rural communities in Liberia. Enrollment at Education First Academy has increased from 40 children in 2012 to 400 students from Pre-K -Grade 9 (junior high school) in 2023.
Our goal is to construct our own facility to accommodate more students and expand our programs to include makerspace education. To achieve this goal, we have purchased three (3) acres of land in Harper for the construction of a $200,000 building. We are appealing to you to become an active member of this exciting journey by donating to the construction project and/or become a member of the board.
